We used BrandGuard Vents along with the SDGE grant program, BrandGuard knows the ins and outs of this grant program which made it very easy to get through the process. They even pull the SD County building permit. The crew was prompt, professional and clean. They brought a portable spray unit to spray the vents the same color as the house, first class, not brush painted. The office staff was excellent with their involvement and notifications to us. The vents are very well designed and made of commercial grade metals. This will equal a life time of use. I’ve recommended others to BrandGuard for all of the above mentions reasons. They are a first class, professional group from top to bottom. If you want an excellent product, exceptional installation and ease of grant paper work I highly recommend this company.

Our home is on a canyon here in San Diego. Local firemen have indicated that the primary threat to homes built of stucco with tile roofs are that flying embers can enter the attic ventilation vents and start fires inside the attic which then cause the house to burn from the inside out. We researched having our vents fire-proofed and were directed to BrandGuard Vents that specialize in this very thing. They work directly with an installer named Bill Bozarth of T&T Home Solutions, Inc. Bill did an excellent job in the installation of the new vents and BrandGuard kept me informed with timely communication. We feel so much safer now.

My home was eligible for a grant to replace existing vents with ember-resistant vents. BrandGuard was one of the recommended companies and I believe the only one that offered to handle all of the county permit paperwork. I had them come out for an estimate. It was about double what the grant would cover, but they quickly offered to split the work in half, to do some now & the rest next year if the grant was still in effect. I can’t speak to the efficacy of the vents (and hope I never can, since that would mean fire had reached my house), but the new vents are certainly very aesthetically pleasing. Happy so far, and in particular, every e-mail question I sent to them was answered promptly.
